Its primary objective is to draw together a range of skills, facilitate the exchange of technical information and share knowledge.
The main trends observed in recent years are as follows:

- Society has high demands regarding safety, traceability, well-being and the environment.
- Stakeholders generally are demanding technical effectiveness and cost efficiency
The CRISTAL GROUP has accordingly decided to develop tools and pool specialist business areas so that they complement each other and work in synergy. These include:
- Veterinary advisory and medical services for farms
- Animal health analyses to support diagnosis and precisely-calculated medication
- Training and consultancy services for businesses (veterinary practices, production organisations and pharmaceutical industries)
- Analyses and inspections for the agri-food industries
